
Feedback Analysis
Our SULAM project in UiTM Arau was a success, whereby we managed to attract 47 participants in total to our programme (Chart 1), which was out of our expectation.
From the feedback we received through the google form (as shown in Chart 2), 95.7% of the participants were very satisfied (rated 3) towards our event. They found this event was very useful to their life. From the data collected through the google form (Chart 3), it showed that 45 out of 47 respondents rated 3 (very useful) and another 2 rated 2 (useful). Most of them were very content with our activities, which consisted of seminars, booths, game stations and 1 on 1 legal consultation. According to Chart 4, 95.7% of them claimed that they will definitely recommend this event to their friends.
Throughout this event, our participants were able to gain some knowledge regarding will and wasiyyat. Among the key takeaways shown in Chart 5, that are highlighted by them included, the realisation that Muslim’s wasiyyat is subjected to one third rule, Muslims are restricted from distributing their property in favour of their children through wasiyyat and other related knowledge such as faraid and hibah. Apart from them, they were also surprised to differentiate between Muslim wills and non-Muslim wills.
Overall, our participants found our event as insightful, interesting and knowledgeable. Some even opined that this programme was very informational because she can learn a lot regarding will and wasiyyah within 2 minutes. They were very impressed with our friendly, attractive presentation aside from the fun mini games relating to our topic. Feedback collected is shown in Chart 6.
From this programme, our participants also recommended that we should make this programme more grand so that we can spread the knowledge to a wider public. They also suggested that we should increase our publicity so that more UiTM students can get notice of our event. Responses collected were recorded in Chart 7.
Afterall, this was a very contended experience for us because it allowed us to get closer with society by spreading the knowledge we learn from law school to them. From the data collected, our objectives for this event has achieved because the public, specifically the community in UiTM has gain the knowledge on law of succession in Malaysia.
